We read each casino’s own terms on October 14, 2026. None of the 28 casinos in our ledger whose terms we could read lists Colorado. They don’t all say it the same way: some publish a full list of excluded states, some restrict countries only, and some publish no list at all.

Of the other casinos in our ledger, BetWhale, BoVegas, Cherry Gold and Shazam publish state lists that leave Colorado off, and the rest restrict countries only or publish no list. Love2Play’s terms page wouldn’t load for us, so check its sign-up form. Bovada is the exception: its own terms list Colorado among 19 restricted states and DC, so it isn’t on this page. Colorado doesn’t license any online casino or online poker site; in a 2013 opinion, the state Attorney General said that would take a change to the state constitution, which means a statewide vote. Online sports betting has been legal since May 1, 2020, daily fantasy sports are regulated, and casino games are limited to 33 casinos in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek plus two tribal casinos in the southwest, all 21+. So every real money casino site open to Coloradans is offshore. We found no case of a player being prosecuted for playing at one. What you give up is protection: no Colorado regulator checks these sites or can step in if a payout goes wrong, so stick to casinos with a payout record, like the ones above. We’re not lawyers, and this isn’t legal advice.
Colorado has no law that names online sweepstakes casinos, and we found no bill or state action against them in 2025 or 2026. Daily fantasy sports are legal and regulated by the Division of Gaming, with no contests on high school or youth sports. Prediction markets like Kalshi aren’t licensed in Colorado: the Attorney General joined other state attorneys general in April 2026 in telling the federal regulator they act as unlicensed sportsbooks, but Colorado hadn’t taken them to court when we checked. We don’t list sweepstakes sites, fantasy sites or prediction markets on this page.

Crypto payouts are public. Here are two of ours on Etherscan, with the time, the amount and the fee. The sender shows as a third-party service, so the casino’s name doesn’t appear, which is normal.
Card deposits at offshore casinos are often declined, and these casinos rarely pay out to cards anyway. Crypto is the route that works both ways, and it’s how every payout in our ledger arrived.

Colorado has 35 casinos, all 21+, with no state cap on bets since 2021: 15 in Black Hawk and 6 in neighboring Central City, about 35 miles west of Denver; 12 in Cripple Creek, about 45 miles from Colorado Springs; and two tribal casinos in the southwest, Sky Ute in Ignacio and Ute Mountain in Towaoc. Big names include Monarch, Ameristar and Horseshoe in Black Hawk and Chamonix and the Golden Nugget in Cripple Creek. The Denver and Colorado Springs metro areas have no casinos of their own, and Grand Junction’s nearest is Black Hawk, nearly 4 hours east on I-70.
Sports betting is legal in Colorado for players 21 and over, online and in person, licensed by the Division of Gaming since May 1, 2020. About a dozen apps take bets, including bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics, BetRivers and theScore Bet, and bettors wagered $388.1 million with Colorado sportsbooks in August 2026. Since August 12, 2026, a new law limits you to six deposits a day at each sportsbook, bans credit card deposits and stops sportsbooks texting you to bet. Player props on college games aren’t allowed. Offshore, BetOnline and MyBookie put a casino and a sportsbook on one balance.
