We read each casino’s own terms from October 14 to 16, 2026. None of the 29 casinos in our ledger whose terms we could read lists Washington as a restricted state. The casinos below don’t all say it the same way: some publish a full list of excluded states, some restrict countries only, and some publish no list at all.

Of the other casinos in our ledger, BetWhale, BoVegas, Cherry Gold and Shazam publish state lists that leave Washington off, and the rest restrict countries only or publish no list. Love2Play’s terms page wouldn’t load for us, so check its sign-up form. A casino can change its terms at any time, so look again before you deposit.
Some of these casinos’ terms also say they’re open only where online gambling is legal. Washington doesn’t allow online casino play, so a casino could use that clause to refuse or void a payout.

Washington doesn’t license any online casino or online poker site, and state law doesn’t allow online gambling, so every real money casino site open to Washingtonians is offshore. We found no case of a player being prosecuted for playing at one. What you give up is protection: no Washington regulator checks these sites or can step in if a payout goes wrong, so stick to casinos with a payout record, like the ones above. Tribal casinos, licensed card rooms, the Lottery and in-person tribal sports betting are legal. We’re not lawyers, and this isn’t legal advice.
Washington has no law that names sweepstakes casinos, but it doesn’t need one: its gambling law allows only the activities it specifically authorizes, and the Gambling Commission says, as a general rule, that unless a gambling activity follows the specific rules required of it, it isn’t legal in Washington. Sweepstakes casinos generally leave Washington off the list of states they serve. In February 2026 the Attorney General also sued the makers of several social casino apps under the state’s gambling and consumer protection laws. We don’t list sweepstakes sites on this page.

Crypto payouts are public. Here are two of ours on Etherscan, with the time, the amount and the fee. The sender shows as a third-party service, so the casino’s name doesn’t appear, which is normal.
Card deposits at offshore casinos are often declined, and these casinos rarely pay out to cards anyway. Crypto is the route that works both ways, and it’s how every payout in our ledger arrived.

Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver, Everett, Yakima, Bellingham and Olympia all have a tribal casino within about 40 minutes. The Tri-Cities have card rooms in Pasco and Kennewick for now (the Pasco room may close at the end of November 2026), but the nearest tribal casinos, Legends in Toppenish and Wildhorse in Pendleton, Oregon, are each about an hour or more away.
Sports betting is legal in Washington only at tribal casinos, in person or on a phone app while you’re on the casino’s premises; there’s no statewide mobile betting. Most tribal casinos offer it (24 on the Gambling Commission’s list), and the first legal bet was placed at Snoqualmie Casino on September 9, 2021. The minimum age depends on the casino (18 at some, 21 at others). A 2026 law, in effect since June 11, 2026, lets tribes take bets on Washington college teams once their compacts are amended, but still bans bets on individual athletes at Washington schools. Daily fantasy sports aren’t authorized in Washington. Online horse racing bets are legal through state-licensed sites for players 21 and over.
