Where to play?
If it’s your first time visit to Rival’s Panda Party slots you’ll be greeted with the following caption: ”Welcome to the Panda Party where lucky lanterns will enable the Pandamonium Round.”
At a glance this non-progressive slots machine lacks the usual 3D graphics we’ve become so accustomed to with the Betsoft games. However, with 20 paylines and 5 reels don’t let this place a damper on things. The game features quirky-looking Pandas with a humorous twist. Regrettably Panda Party does not feature any scatters but it does have a multiplier from 1x up to a whopping 64x. Keep your eye on the free spins bonus round which offers some incredible payouts. The maximum jackpot payout is 100 coins and the house edge is 3.5%.
The game graphics are pretty basic but I must admit this is a very entertaining game that offers spectacular wins. Paying symbols against the backdrop of green bamboos are the Pandas, Green Chest, ornately crafted card symbols from 9 to Ace, Ming vases, purple ball, red and green lanterns and the red dragon. The soundtrack of the slots suits its theme perfectly.
Now that you’ve set your bankroll aside it’s important to select your betting range that suits it best. The coin range is 0.1 up to 0.25. Up to 10 coins can be wagered per line. The minimum bet per spin is $0.2 and the max. bet is $25. At the higher bet levels the game is slightly more volatile.
After each win it’s the multiplier that steals the show. Poker symbols pay out up to 100 coins. The top prize for Ming Vases, red dragons and the treasure chests are 300, 350 and 1,000 coins respectively. If you land three or more Jackpot Pandas you’ll receive 1,500 coins.
- The Wild Icon: The laughing panda is the wild symbol. When two or more of them appear with 2 or more red dragon icons in conjunction with the Ming vase, a handsome payout ensues. I won $326 when they appeared. When the wild forms a winning combination it replaces adjacent symbols.
- Free Spins Bonus: The free spins bonus game is triggered when 3 or more red circle pandas appear any where on an active payline. For your efforts you’ll receive 8 free spins. It’s quite easy to trigger the free spins and you can win loads of cash here. I managed a win of $750 at $25 per spin. Once again pay close attention to the multipliers. Wins can be multiplied 1x up to 40x your stake. The free spins can be re-triggered. I managed to trigger it twice but during the second round wins were not as good as the first one. Just above the reels are the two Chinese lanterns. If they are green it means that the re-trigger feature is on. If they’re red it’s off.
- The Pandamonium Round: Of the bonus games this is the pick of the crop. It’s flushed with cascading pandas where the multiplier can be as high as 64 times. During the bonus feature numerous Panda Bonus symbols turn into Drop Multiplier Icons. As if this is not enough, the Free Spin Panda Icon transforms into the Jackpot Panda awarding huge wins.
The more I played Panda Party the more I enjoyed it. The game is fueled by an incredible multiplier of up to 64 times, the free spins bonus and the Pandamonium Round. Only 8 free spins are awarded during the free spins game. But hey who cares since wins are multiplied up to 40 times your bet. With 2 bonus rounds and a wild it’s definitely one of the better Rival games I’ve played.
