Pai Gow Poker is one game I enjoy playing but I must admit I’m not near as good at the game as I’d like to be. RealTime Gaming’s Pai Gow Poker features basic visuals, smooth play and the game can be played in the free mode or for real cash which is great.
‘‘Our approved RTG online casinos where Pai Gow Poker can be played don’t contain ‘rubber stamped’ seals of approval but are the real deal.”
‘Double Hand’ poker is the American version of the popular game, instead of being played with tiles it’s played with cards. Poker values are used and not the original Pai Gow dominoes point system.
The stakes that can be played at a Pia Gow poker game is $1 up to $500. The ultimate aim of the game is to beat the dealer, beat the dealer and you’ll receive a cash prize. A 5% commission is charged on all payouts (even money minus commission), the lowest chip denomination is rounded down to a quarter ($0.25).
At the bottom of each RTG table there’s a ‘Help’ menu which gives you a brief overview of the game by explaining its rules and payouts. Once you’ve placed your bet which ca range from $1, $5, $25, $100 up to $500, you’ll be dealt 7 cards.
The cards must be divided into 2 piles, one set will consist of 5 piles (Highest) and the other of 2 piles (2nd Highest). The player must create two separate poker hands that’s beats the dealers 2 hands.
Even though the cards are ranked according to the standard poker rules, two things must be kept in mind:
The nice things about RealTime Gaming’s Pai Gow Poker is that players can play in the free mode or for real cash. The screen can be adjusted to preference, there’s an audio replete with the dealer’s voice and card sounds and players can switch from manual to Auto Play.
In Pai Gow Poker the banker is always the dealer and on wins a commission of 5% is charged. The second highest hand is the Ace-5 straight, in the event the player defaults he’ll be warned. To be honest the rules are a tad unusual, here’s why:
In summary. The games designed by RealTime Gaming are good since they offer players stability and flexibility. Unfortunately the majority of the games listed in the vendor’s game library are beginning to show their age.
Pai Gow Poker is a fun game to play and it’s easy to learn. It follows pretty much the same rules as normal poker with decent odds. I played the game in the free mode and won 3 out of my 10 hands (30%), as a I said before I’m not good at the game but I’m fairly confident that a knowledgeable player will have way more winning hands than mine.
